The magnificent Lion, the ‘King of the Beasts’, is under threat. A century ago, an estimated 200.000 wild lions roamed the African continent. Nowadays, only 20.000 free-roaming lions can be found and their historic range has been reduced by 95 percent and their habitat continues to be under attack. The lion is an Apex predator and does not have a natural enemy, however their survival is still at stake.
The Namibian Lion Trust endeavours to Protect and Conserve the Namibian Lion and YOUR help can make the difference – You could be a part of this great challenge.
By supporting the focal programmes depicted below, YOU will be contributing towards ensuring that the Namibian Lion population remains stable as well as continues to grow in areas with sufficient natural prey.
Should you wish to make a difference, please select one of the items listed in the drop down menu below or select ‘Give A Custom Amount’ to the project of your choice. We are grateful for every donation, every little cent counts!
